Microneedling is a quick and effective treatment. It can be done in as quick as an hour with numbing. This fairly new treatment helps with improving conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, brown spots, stretch marks, and pigment issues. It’s also been referred to as collagen induction therapy.
Essentially we are using tiny needling to prick the dermis of the skin this process causes light wounds which produce collagen while they heal. This procedure can be done with PRP or platelet rich plasma, vitamin C or stem cells. The downtime associated with the treatment is minimal we recommend staying out of the sun for 48 hours. After about 2-3 days your skin should heal and have a nice glow. We recommend doing this treatment several times to ensure the best results typically 3-6.
