The Twenty-First Century’s Stem Cell Revolution has brought with it a new and effective
treatment for shoulder injuries.

Using either the patient’s stem cells extracted from bone marrow or using commercially
available stem cells, our clinicians at MetroMD are able to treat soft tissue injuries of the
shoulders. Such injuries include partial cartilage tears, tendon and ligament injuries as seen on
MRI evaluations of the injury site. After stem cells are injected into the targeted site, the patient
is asked not to exercise for 21 days until the stem cells are fixed and the regenerative process is
safely underway.

Studies over the past decade demonstrate with serial MRI’s done over a two year period that
more than seventy-five percent on average of the soft tissue injuries repair themselves when
stem cells are applied.
