West Hollywood Rejuvenate Your Skin With The C02 Laser!

The C02 Fractional Laser has been a very popular and effective skin treatment laser treatment here at MetroMD. The laser begins by deeply penetrating and removing the skin’s outer layer, the epidermis. Targeting a specific damage area, the CO2 laser will rejuvenate the skin one layer at a time. The resurfacing technique creates a tightening effect through collagen stimulation. As the process continues, the damaged skin will show signs of improvement by greatly reducing the appearance of the acne scars, blemishes, and wrinkles. Before starting the treatment patients will be assessed for the proper amount of care and treatment before beginning the procedure. The long-lasting benefits of the CO2 acne scar laser techniques will outweigh any initial recovery time. The reduction of damaged skin from acne scars will give a person a new sense of self-confidence. If you have any questions or are interested in learning more about the effects of the C02 Laser you can view our before and after gallery here. The VI Peel

Our skin begins to lose its youthful glow as we age. Collagen is the protein under our skin that produces its healthy, non-wrinkled appearance. Unfortunately, collagen production decreases as we get older and is directly affected by our exposure to UV rays, pollutants, and an unhealthy diet.

A Vi Peel is a clinical-grade chemical peel that removes the top layer of skin, thereby exposing the younger, healthier layer underneath. The procedure is performed in approximately 30 minutes and requires little downtime. The Vi Peel uses 5 key ingredients which are suitable to treat a variety of skin types as well as improve the tone, texture, quality, clarity of the skin.

Key ingredients:

*Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA)

*Retinoic Acid (Vitamin A)

*Salicylic Acid

*Phenol

*L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

Unlike other chemical peels, a Vi Peel doesn’t require skin preconditioning. After the treatment, our patient is then sent home with a post-peel kit and instructions on how to gently care for their skin in during the upcoming days.

The Vi Peel is virtually painless although skin can appear slightly red after treatment. It begins to peel after three days, and the peeling will last for an additional two to three days.

Makeup is not recommended while the skin is peeling. A moisturizer (some will be provided for you) can be applied to diminish the appearance of peeling skin. It is also best to stay out of the sun during the peeling process.

The Vi Peel is the latest skin treatment used to combat the signs of aging. Many people love this procedure so much, they have it done three to four times a year!

The C02 Fractional Laser

The Carbon Dioxide (C02) Fractional Laser removes layers of skin tissue in a fractionated method. The laser creates controlled burns and columns of skin are removed, leaving the skin surrounding each column intact to aid in healing. This helps to reduce skin aging and damage, also called sun freckles, liver spots, fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, uneven coloration, skin laxity, textural irregularities, dull tone, and a thinned collagen layer of the face, neck, and chest.

The CO2 laser is especially beneficial for those suffering from deep acne scars. Because the CO2 laser creates controlled fractioned injury, the healthy skin left between the fractioned columns helps to heal faster and stimulate the production of new, healthy collagen to fill in the scars surface of the skin.

From start to finish, the procedure takes about 60 to 90 minutes and the majority of that time (40-60 minutes) is spent numbing. Downtime lasts 7-10 days.

Co2 Laser for Acne Scars

Co2 Laser for Acne Scars is an amazing treatment that MetroMD has been perfecting over the last 10 years. Co2 laser for acne scars can help treat unwanted scars. Many people have lived years with acne scars and have tried many treatments to help diminish their scars. These may include creams, facials, peels and more. However, MetroMD has found that Co2 Laser is our best treatment for acne scars.

MetroMD uses CO2 laser to resurface the skin and to diminish scars. Co2 Laser for Acne Scars is a great treatment especially when it is combined with a regenerative cellular product. MetroMD combines PRP, stem cells or amniotic fluid with our Co2 laser to ensure better tissue recovery and enhanced results.

Co2 laser treatment for acne scars works in the following way. First, the skin is numbed for 30min using a topical anesthetic. Then the treatment begins where the CO2 laser is fractionated and used to penetrate the skin. Microwells of the laser is formed in the skin causing a perforation which then stimulates the skin to heal. Over the next few weeks, the new skin is formed and ultimately acne scars are removed. However, at MetroMD we apply cells over the Co2 after the treatment. Since the CO2 laser is a type of burn to the skin we can utilize healing cells in the area to speed up recovery and maximize results. Cells such as stem cells are placed here and can help heal the tissue damage that is made by the CO2 laser. In other words, we are tricking your body into healing itself and removing the unwanted acne scars.

So if you suffer from acne scars. Try Co2 Laser for Acne Scars, it is a 21st-century solution to having better skin!
